#8 - The Office Clerk Flashes Back! - Part 3 (Conclusion)
It's Wednesday, July 17, and you're reading another edition of Saves the Day!
Here is the conclusion to the three-part Office Clerk flashback explaining his frustrations with Manno-Canno. This story arc, the first ever for the strip, was created in response to reader questions which inquired as to why the Clerk seemed so steamed by Manno-Canno's appearance in Saves the Day Strip #5. Originally the Clerk was going to react in such a way because of his petty issue with tomatoes, but I thought, why not delve deeper and really give the inquiring readers some actual answers? So, here it is, concluded at last.
Now for a piece of news. In August there will be a significant change in the frequency and format of Saves the Day. I will be releasing the strip THREE TIMES A WEEK beginning with the first Wednesday in August. Following that you can get new Saves the Day on Sundays, Wednesdays, and on Fridays to give your week the satisfying closure that it deserves. Sundays will feature colored offerings with their own story continuity (in the tradition of old newspaper Sunday strips), Wednesdays will be in black and white to continue with that format and the honoring of New Comic Book Day, and Fridays will feature random stories, flashbacks, and character one-offs.
Let me know what you think about the new formats and schedules by commenting here or on Twitter. Also, if you'd like to help support the comic I am, as stated below, willing to sell t-shirts sporting whichever strip, character, or Saves the Day-related design you choose. Your support is welcome and much appreciated, and it will help me keep up on the expense of supplies to maintain the strip. The shirts will be $10 plus $3 for shipping. Just email me at the address below with your special design request, shirt size, and address. Thank you.

Remember, all you have to do to read the comic is to click on the image above. You can also choose to open the image in a new tab by right-clicking and selecting "Open in New Tab." It's as simple as that (assuming you find that simple).
Do you tweet? Well, this comic has been known to post a thing or two on Twitter. Feel free to follow @savesdaycomic
If you have any questions or comments post them below or email them to jonathansample.comics[at]gmail.com. Enjoy and share with your friends, family, coworkers, random neighbors, and close personal vampiric overlords.
Also, if anyone would be interested in quality signed prints of any of the comics or Saves the Day t-shirts, please email me at jonathansample.comics[at]gmail.com with your specific request (e.g. a t-shirt featuring a favorite character, panel, strip, etc.). I even do special event greeting cards and general consignment work. There's a small price, but I must ask for a little something to cover the supplies I use to create the comic. I hope you'll express your interest and be understanding.
Thank you very much for reading.
